Are You Staffed with Nurses?

We have staff onsite 24 hours a day to ensure there is always someone to respond when residents need help. We also have an emergency call system in place to provide a fast response in the event of a medical emergency. Whatever you need, our staff is always here to assist you.

Are Meals Included in the Cost?

Meals are included in the rental cost of our apartments and garden homes. Residents of our community are free to enjoy three delicious home-cooked meals every day.

Are Pets Allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed at our retirement community. We know how much your pets mean to you and that they’re part of the family. Whether you have a cat or dog, your furry friend will love coming along with you to your new home.

Is Transportation Provided?

We provide transportation to medical appointments all day Monday through Thursday. Residents simply need to fill out a transportation request with the front desk at least 72 hours before the appointment date. Transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

What Type of Residences Do You Offer?

We offer numerous floor plan options at our scenic location in Lexington, SC. Whether apartment living is more your style, or you prefer the additional privacy of a cottage, we have numerous options to choose from. In fact, we have over 50 different floor plans, each with a unique layout and the ability to decorate the interior to your taste. In each of our residences, you’ll find a personal washer and dryer, a full bathroom with a shower, and a full kitchen. You’re sure to love all our spacious floor plans and the independence of maintenance-free living. Our residence options include:

• Apartments: We have studio and one-bedroom apartment floor plans to choose from, all with plenty of living space to suit your needs.
• Cottages: Our cottage floor plans are available in one and two-bedroom options and offer private entrances.
• Garden Homes: We have garden home floor plans available in one, two, and three-bedroom options. These floor plans offer everything a home does, without the maintenance requirements.

Can I Take a Tour of the Community?

Yes, you can take a tour of the community. We’d be happy to show you around, let you look at the different floor plans, and allow you to see all our amenities. We know you’ll feel at home in our community once you see it for yourself.

Note: Currently, with the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing virtual tours that allow you to stay safe at home, while still getting to view our beautiful community. We are also offering special onsite tours with designated tour paths to follow current social distancing standards.

May I Furnish and Decorate My Living Space as I Wish?

The best part about our community is that you can make your residence your own. You are free to bring your own style and personality with furniture pieces, home accents, and anything else you need to call a place home. You’ll love that all our floor plans feature luxury flooring surfaces, including vinyl-planked flooring and premium carpet. The rest of the design decisions are up to you. Feel free to be creative and make the space feel just like home.

What Services Are Included in the Monthly Fee?

Our monthly fees include rental of your own private residence, three home-cooked meals daily, maintenance of your residence, and the many amenities our community offers. Some of these amenities include transportation to medical appointments, various activities, a fully stocked library, and much more. You’ll love the freedom and comfort of our senior housing.

Does Your Community Offer Activities for Residents?

Yes, we offer numerous community activities and events for residents. We host daily games Monday through Friday in our common areas and encourage all our residents to come and participate. Our common areas are also equipped with games, books, and movies you can enjoy on your own time. You may also enjoy playing shuffleboard in the Courtyard, joining our garden club, or taking a dip in our heated swimming pool. There’s no end to the things you can do at the Village at Southlake.

Can Residents Go on Outings?

Residents of our retirement community are free to come and go as they please, going on independent outings to nearby shops, restaurants, or to visit family and friends. Our goal is to create a completely independent environment for residents with the benefit of maintenance-free living and a community of retirees. We do provide transportation for those residents who do not wish to drive to medical appointments. This service is offered Monday through Thursday.
